Fire and Oak A captivating and thought-provoking short film, "Fire and Oak" tells the story of a hardworking sex worker who decides to go on a date with a charming but entitled young man. As their paths intertwine, their journey becomes a delicate balance between redemption and self-destruction. Synopsis Late one Napa night, Helen and Eli stumble into Eli’s hotel room for charcuterie and banter. It’s an odd pair for a romantic rendezvous–a philosophical sex worker on her night off and a recovering misogynist on his honeymoon alone. Their date sizzles with quippy foreplay, but mutual judgment compromises their chemistry. Eli presses Helen to share stories of her sex work, but keeps his own cards close. Helen chainsmokes, as the pair sips then guzzles Chardonnay. They both go from tipsy to intoxicated, and their demands of one another only grow. Will they let each other in or burn each other alive?

SHADOW OF REGRET was a test of the BM6K pro at iso 3200 hand held for the full scene and I am trying to learn resolve color and a little masking. I have to thank all that spent time helping me on this test run. There is some odd pixelation and I do not know what from.
